RE: USF Game Thread
Struggled today, but I expected it with them coming off a big win @ UL. The key is that they fought through it and came away with the W.

Kilpatrick needs to start hitting shots. He's been getting some really good looks, he just hasn't been shooting well from the perimeter outside of the Temple games and against UCF for over a month. Figure it out, man!

21-2. Holy crap.

With this roster what these guys and coaches have accomplished is nothing short of amazing.

Absolutely. At this point I hate even getting upset when things aren't going well, but I really want this team to maximize their opportunity. This is easily one of my favorite Bearcat teams. Not much expected preseason and left for dead after the Xavier debacle. Now they are top 10?? Outstanding job all around! 04-bow

RE: USF Game Thread
Regarding student attendance at the USF game, I learned something today. I'm told that the students were forced to acquire their tickets in blocks of games. Many rushed to be able to get the block that contained the Louisville game. However, many of those fortunate enough to get a block ticket chose not to attend the USF game. This strategy would reduce the number of student tickets available for those that just wanted to go to yesterday's game.

We were wondering why one end was relatively full but the other was about 1/2 full or less.

My daughter is a UC student and she gets as many student tickets as they make available each time they do because she goes to nearly every game.

It seems like there needs to be a way to get the lower seats full. Hopefully the UConn game can sell out so it won't be an issue.

Even the students that were there seem like they were sleep most of the time.

Very little noise or effort from them.

The game was a 50-45 extremely slow paced game, you have to give fans a reason to get loud. When we made our run it got loud.

The crowd was dead for most o the game. Last 3 minutes the crowd definitely stepped it up and that bothered USF.

Typical Sunday noon game. Everyone was half-comatose as it was and the creeping pace didn't help. They should have served espresso at the concession stand.
