RE: OT: Friendly Reminder
The fans that hurt their school all the time with the NCAA are the ones who don't understand the definition of a booster, and assume it only applies to people who donate money to the program.

If you looked up the letter of the law, any person who considers themselves a fan, has ever bought a ticket, is considered a booster. Ironically, those fans are more likely to get away with it because its much harder to figure out who the fan is.

We may have been born at night, but not last night.

The rule as written would never hold up given the changes in society. It does need to be addressed this season though.

It doesn't take much for a rule to hold up against our schools.

If you see a player/recruit stuck with a flat tire in the snow on the side of the road...don't give him your can of fix-a-flat...just drive on by. lol

That's my favorite rule. I know someone who works for the pigs indirectly. He ran into a similar situation, and was going to help the player, but stopped to call compliance first to clear it. He was told if he wanted to keep his job, he should drive on and leave the player.

It will be intersting to see how this is addressed in the future. I don't see how the massive online social media will be easy to enforce upon. I agree too that its weird for people to be tweeting high school kids.
