just WOW....nice grab....would love to see that become an incurable 'virus'

They were talking about how La Tech talked to EVERY SEC school to play them and they were rebuffed at every moment, the next thing he said was you have schools like La Tech and USM (those were the two he mentioned by name, but also said "others" (and I assume he meant UTEP) that are sort of that "limbo" spot, where they're "too good" in some aspects and not "great" in others and they deserved a chance to play those "big conference" schools.

Of course SEC, ACC,... teams don't want to play at top tier CUSA facilities because they have so much to lose due to their national "perception" of superiority.

It's a business decision for them. I have the same concerns about us playing somebody like a Jackson State or UA-Pine Bluff at THEIR place. Other than possibly some recruiting benny's...WHY do it???

I'm pretty sure that announcer said home or away...If that's the case none of the SEC schools were willing to host us.

Per what White said earlier in the season, we had Alabama, but the SEC office told them to call back and cancel it. From my understanding, it wasn't the schools, but the conference that said no go to Tech.

I believe this to be correct
