AMEN! I believe this was thew worst half of officiating I've ever witnessed in College basketball.

I know this isn't big time college basketball such as the Big 12, ACC or Big East.....but geez, CUSA has GOT to find better game officials than this. It's absurd. The halftime scores are so high 57-39 because the game officals won't allow any defense to be played.

Hog, the entire NCAA's share their officiating. There is no "Big-12 refs", no "ACC refs" in college basketball.

However, you know it's bad on the players (and not the officials) when the tv announcer says "I know they're {marshall} young, and I know they've got some fight in them, but I'd like to see it".

Even with all the starters we have out when we shoot a good percentage from 3 we are really tough to beat. We really miss Kyser's D in the middle though. I am impressed with the crowd this team deserves better than 3,500 per game

I thought the WAC refs were bad, but CUSA refs...ugh (and that's been on both sides all season long). But then again, the new rules create all of the ticky tac fouls. Not liking the new rule changes.

From three Tech is 9-21 against Marshall's man defense. They were 9-28 against USM's matchup zone.

Refs in our game at ECU swallowed their whistles tonight. Neither team reached double-bonus.

Holy cow.. the CBS-sportscaster just said that the "Power Conferences" need to play at C-USA schools arenas? Okay, I"m paraphrasing a little, but that was the general theory behind his comment.

One referee just CORRECTED his fellow ref (thank goodness) who made another terrible call. This time on an out of bounds ball. These guys are a piece of work.

On to UTEP, and this game SCARES me. Not only are we on the road, but I watched some of the UTEP-UTSA game, and they are really good. Playing bigger than they are and well coached. This and the Tulsa game are the big road blocks for us this season.

Agreed. Beating UTEP in El Paso --at basketball-- is always a tough trick. And with LA Tech's best player still out, the Bulldawgs WILL have their hands full.

the good news is that White said that Appleby won't need season ending surgery so he should be able to come back by at least tournament time

the subjective judgements of hand check rule and the arc under the bucket would stump the best of them.....sj will tell you that teams should just get used to it and will modify....if one could only medusa his thinking and the eeeeediots that continue to make the game more subjective like the policia in stripes (sorry, arcane corrupted mexican ref)

stupid shite reminds me of susan powter begging to chair the rules committee...just stop the insanity

Not that it makes a difference. But if it's the same Jose Carrion referee, he is Puerto Rican..... Which makes him American.
