WMU travels to Ypsi for a big game which will be televised including ESPN's FullCourt for those who have DirecTV, in addition to Times Warner and the MAC's webcasting.
I believe it is a 'free preview' so one doesn't even need to subscribe to the FullCourt package.

EMU wins 56-37, despite our top scorers combining for 7 points. Really an ugly 2nd half for both teams, but I'll never be mad at a 19 point win over an in-state rival.

No kidding. A lot of it was because we locked them down. I don't think Whittington made one shot inside 15 feet. He owned us last year. With no inside game to speak of, we forced them to take too many outside shots...which is exactly what the zone is designed to do.
A lot of WMU's problems were self-inflicted, but we definitely had something to do with that. Our best defensive effort of the season, by far. And we've had some pretty good defensive games.
Toledo with the full court pass to Buzzer beater to win the game. What a play. Great game. Can't be too upset with losing to a strong Toledo team by 2 on the road.

Agreed, great game and effort. Except for shooting fouls, or lack thereof. Seriously? UB had no FT attempts until the 9 minute mark of the 2nd half, in this age of ticky-tack touch foul rules this season?

Typical bad officiating from the MAC...from where I sat--and it was a good spot--refs missed a clear goaltending by Buffalo, numerous fouls by McRae who should have fouled out early, and at least one T that could have been called on Hurley. Buffalo is a VERY good team, as advertised. Freelove made me really miss him. And fouls or lack thereof aside, McRae is the conference's best big man. Took a huge effort for Toledo to come back. But if tonight's performance is par for him, then Hurley is the runaway winner for league crybaby. He got away with crap that almost no other coach would. Must be because he was a blessed "Dukie".

Free throws were in favor of Toledo 24-6 which is nuts. That's the ball game right there. Any missed goaltending and whiny behavior by Hurley is far outweighed by that.

Oh I'm pretty Toledo's been on the short end of the FT stat before. Won't be the last time for either of our teams. But you can keep Hurley.
