It will be interesting to see what G5 coaches get the call up. I'll be curious to see if Doc Holliday gets any looks, or if his success this year is attributed to a weak schedule.

I'd be surprised if he did. Maybe if he was 5-6 years younger but he's like 58 years old.

Kansas State (re)hired a coach who was a lot older than that, and it's worked out OK for them. 58 is not that old when you consider the average tenure for coaches at major programs. How many P5 coaches have been at their present school for ten years?

Yeah but he had been there before- and some of the guys on the team when he came back he had recruited. Huge difference than going somewhere for the 1st time.

Snyder is almost certainly the exception, not the rule. Also, Snyder is probably one of the single greatest, if not the greatest, coach to ever coach the game.

Do you see if he has finally put together His team and let him continue with it or do you hand over what might finally be a complete Florida team next year to someone else so that they look good with Muschamp's boys?

He has at least bought himself time to the end of the season. A Georgia win means nothing if he turns around and loses to the rest of the East teams he still has on his schedule. Considering SC just lost to Tennessee, Florida should win out.

Early on I said one of the games FSU has to watch out for is the Florida game. Some folks thought that was crazy but those Florida boys may yet make something of themselves.

I think if the QB shows promise and they win out, they almost have to give him another shot. And heck- if Auburn beats Georgia- all it would take would be 2 Missouri losses(they have left Texas A&M, Tennessee, and Arkansas) and Florida is in the SEC title game believe it or not if 1 of the 2 Missouri losses is to Tennessee.

Hard to tell if Harris showed any promise at QB for Florida. They threw 6 passes, none in the second half.

The team is not good and not getting better.

I didn't put Muschamp in the "definitely" because he has a chance to win most if not all of the next six games against SEC teams. I think they could beat FSU until they Noles learn to tackle. I don't think the Gators will, and I think that Muschamp will be gone. But, at least he has a chance to salvage his job.

Muschamp's job status is still very much in play. If they run the table, and I no longer think an FSU upset is out of the question, Muschamp may still survive. That said, I suspect Muschamp will NOT survive.

I think if he wins out but for FSU- he's probably safe.
