The butt hurt is strong in this one.

What the Hell are you talking about? And why do you continue to chirp when GSU had no dog in this fight.

Exactly. Why did the WKU poster bring up GSU in this post? It didn't involve GSU. I haven't double checked but I don't even think a GSU fan commented in this thread. Yet, the WKU poster felt the need to open his mouth about some B.S. notion that all four GSU fans think we've won the conference in January. Show me one post where that was even insinuated. Actually, please don't. This thread had nothing to do with GSU till ol' boy made his comment - and it really should be kept like that. So that's what I mean. He's butt hurt.

The problem is that we didn't bow down and kiss the ring of the Hillbillies and acknowledge the thousands of games they won before Integration.

hillbillies? you realize that deliverance was based on georgia....right?

georgia has two types of people.....the most racist redneck crackers i've ever run across....and i've lived all over the south or if your blessed enough to visit atlanta thug central.

which stereotype do you fall into? still plenty of confederate flags flying in georgia so it's interesting your reference point was integration. you sure you don't want to drop the war of northern aggression on us?

and if you want to use reference points pick any decade to compare....post integration of course. or are we just counting this last month as a measuring stick?

you damn crackers kill me.

WKU and the integration of college basketball:

Clem Haskins and Dwight Smith became the first black athletes to integrate the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers basketball program in the Fall of 1963. This put Western Kentucky at the forefront to integrate college basketball in the Southeast. The Western Kentucky Hilltoppers were 2 points away from defeating Michigan and meeting the University of Kentucky Wildcats in the Mideast regional final of the 1966 NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Tournament. A controversial foul called against Greg Smith during a jump ball put Cazzie Russel on the free throw line for Michigan, where he scored the tying and winning baskets.

I know we hate posting facts into a message board topic but here goes....

by my count that's a average of 18 wins over 45 year and making the NCAA Tourney 40% of the time...once every 2.5 years

I understand GSU fans not wanting to talk about history...

you have very little of it that's good.

In your 41 year history
only 11 seasons with a winning record

My point was Laf is a great offensive minded team, so therefore you would think he would watch according to his post...Defense maybe not so much...

I didn't realize we were averaging those numbers. Like I've said, I'm not much of a basketball fan. I'm surprised to hear we have potential NBA players. Again congrats and good luck WKU.

Its ok you are like most of the SB when it comes to basketball, so glad CUSA is more of a basketball conference and fit for WKU and its hoops and fanbase....

My point was in reply to Cajun fans acting like we will never play again on the court....We are in Jan. and the conference is not won in Jan....If you read posts by Ga. St. its already over, no butthurt facts....We have a long way to go for everyone and did not want to forget the way 2 or 3 Ga St fans reacted after they killed us at home like the season is over, drop the mic and walk off the stage....A lot more basketball left..

Well...since this thread has fullly degraded...go ahead...go ahead and point me to one comment by a GSU fan who is acting like GSU has the conference wrapped up. You might find some on PantherTalk looking ahead to different scenarios that might play out...but no one is thinking we've got the conference wrapped up.

The posts made after the GSU-WKU game were in response to the banter between the fan bases during the summer and autumn....nothing more.
