The SEC didn't lose, Alabama did. Just like the SEC didn't win the last seven national championships, Alabama, Auburn, Florida and LSU did. I think Bob Stoops just did Gary Pinkel a huge favor. If there was any chance that his team had a case of "We're the SEC, we're invincible!" fever, it's gone now and they'll be very focused for OSU.

Good point, Phog. There are good teams, bad teams, teams that show up, and teams that don't. Last night was two good teams where one showed up in Spades and the other didn't light their fire until it was too late.

After using the War Eagle signature for 3 weeks, Auburn beat Alabama, then immediately swapping to the Boomer Sooner sig after finding out they'll be playing Alabama, it worked again... However, I don't like Auburn but I do like Oklahoma... I gained 1 confidence point with the Oklahoma win, in my ESPN Bowl Mania...

Doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

They lost AT #1 Baylor and Texas while beating OSU head to head.
OSU lost to a 4-8 WVU and OU head to head.
Texas isn't worth discussing IMHO due to their overall record.

Seems like OU is clearly the #2 team.
