Since when does Alabama and Georgia losing mean the end of SEC dominance? If the remaining SEC schools win out the conference would have went 8-2 in the post-season with a BCS national championship.

Oklahoma is a good team with good players. I don't think the Alabama lose is a reflection of the SEC slipping.

RE: OT: Thank you Oklahoma!
I derived a great deal of 02-13-banana from what Oklahoma did to them in New Orleans, they didn't just "upset" them. They looked them right in the eye and beat their asses down! I wish you could have heard all the excuse making calls made to Finebaum today, one ***hole had the nerve to imply that it was all the talk about "little Nicky" running to Texas, which was put to bed 3 weeks ago, was a distraction to the players last night. And the majority of "oh, they weren't playing hard because they didn't want to be there" callers chimed in, like they're (bleeping) entitled to play for a national title simply because they exist, never mind that they didn't win their conference or division this year (that mythical title they were given 2 years ago at LSU's expense was bull****), & still they walk around thinking they're still the best team in the country. 03-lmfao!!!! And I know you've seen the video of that "Tammy" attacking an Oklahoma fan in the stands because her crimson turd was getting flushed and they had the gall to be happy about that. It was on CNN about 2 hours or so ago.

I hope the rest of the conference catches up with their arrogant asses and delivers one beat down after another next season and beyond, they make me sick, but most important, that (bleeping) board of trustees that worships the ground they walk on while screwing UAB football over time and time again. Till they do right by the Blazers, may there be many moments awaiting them similar to what took place in the SuperDome on 1/2. Thank you so very much, Oklahoma Sooners!!!! Blazer Nation for the most part, is eternally grateful to you.

Yep.

Same reason I was kinda hoping Houston would beat Vandy (tired of the SEC).

8-7.

4-0 in national championships, 1-2 in other BCS bowls.

My bad. I thought they all mattered.

Fact is if I could cheat like the SEC and bamer in particular I would kick Tiger Woods every week and be a millionaire. Got no respect for cheaters. Especially those that flaunt it while getting away with it.
I'm sure OU does it too but they are rookies compared to Nicky and bamer.

Not too surprising. They wanted a title game and didn't get it, so they didn't show up. They did the same thing against Utah. Even the sideline reporter, who had been the sideline reporter for the last two title games, said she noticed the Alabama players didn't have any enthusiasm about the game. They didn't care to be there, and they played like it.

03-lmfao You'd never be able to convince these local morons. Most extreme case of denial by a fan base I've ever seen , to get beaten and still proclaim yourselves as "the better team." Really?! Really! Really!!!?? I heard one of them on radio say that if they had a rematch they'd beat them easily. That's one of the things that made me sick to my stomach & hate the BCS that much more was when after LSU kicked their ass two years ago in Tuscaloosa, the computers gave them a rematch in the mythical title game, despite not winning their division or conference. Yet, in 2002, when Ohio Stink and Michigan were 1 and 2 and talking rematch, these "Updykes" were the biggest raisers of hell protesting the mere idea of a rematch...Until the time came around for them to benefit from it. This is their myopic, obsessive rationale now, to say that they know they're better, and if given a rematch or a best 2 out of 3, they'd mop the floor with the team that just handed their asses to them. 03-lmfao if it weren't so 03-puke, it's going to be something around here in this town/state until next season, and heaven forbid if Auburn should happen to win that game tomorrow night. Rural domestic crime in the state of Alabama is going to skyrocket. As will beer sales...

The Bama hate isn't just in Bama. I do not like Tuscaloosa Vocational Center either. They're in the same boat as Knoxville State Community College.

Great to see the Tide and their fans go down to a decent OU team that showed up ready to play. OU's speed on offense and especially at WR was the a huge problem for the Tide. Now I know why Saban was crying about the spread no huddle offenses.

+1 He's complained openly about no-huddle offenses and read-options, and has no answer for them at present, Auburn and OU have exposed one of their most glaring weaknesses.

He's out of touch with modern-day football & the rest of the conference will hopefully catch up to him and "Soonerize" them on a regular basis next year. That would just make me 02-13-banana

Yeah, not surprising at all. Nick Saban probably said "You know what guys, I'm such a good coach and game planner, especially with a month off, that I think we just shouldn't show up to this game. We were the best team in the country, and rather than showing up and making that statement, we should lose the game." This logic is just asinine. Nick Saban doesn't want to lose, ever. I'm 100% sure he prepared for this game the same way he did any other. It's a loser's excuse, and a loser's mentality, to say that you didn't show up for an effing BCS game. You got beat, and you got beat by the better team on that night.

03-lmfao the most creative if not nauseating fan base I've ever known of when it comes to offering up reasons or excuses following a defeat, & I am litterally surrounded by them on a daily basis. If you ever want a good 03-lmfao, now's the time to listen to our local sports talk station, Finebaum (03-puke) gives them the best forum to display their ignorance and pretzelesque rationale for why their beloved crimson turds got beat...Try to have fun for as long as you can bear listening to them.
