Zips come back and are dominating the last 7 or 8 minutes. Up 31-25 at half. Marshall doesn't look like they have an offensive plan at all.
How many more years on Tom Herrion's contract? Time for Marshall fans to take up a collection to buy him out.

Quincy Diggs never met an ill advised, off balance jump shot he didn't like.

Next season is the last season of his deal. The fans have absolutely had it with him and if he is not gone by years end (baring a huge turnaround) I don't know what might happen. We have an extremely talented team but an idiot head coach who does more flopping and flailing then coaching.

RE: Game Question for Akron Fans
I imagine its frustrating for Marshall fans to see Kane tearing it up for Iowa State. Herrion seems to have an unhealthy appetite for recruiting players with lots of talent but have some sort of glitch (attitude, effort, focus, grades, etc) that keeps them from reaching their full potential. One of those on a team can be a challenge, but a whole team of them together is a recipe for extreme frustration.
the transfer from OU, Goard, fits that profile to a tee. He showed tons of upside when he played but rarely saw the floor, even in blowouts, because he was constantly in the doghouse for undisclosed reasons. It got so bad that he was told to stay home for the team's trips to the conference tournament and NCAA tournament Sweet 16 run. I question whether Herrion can provide the structure Goard needs to reach his full potential.

RE: Game Question for Akron Fans
Akron may have done us a favor. Herrion needs to go after this season. When you start 2 freshmen and 2 sophomores, none who have played a college game until this year; you know you are in trouble. Herrion has managed to tear down a program that two years ago was in the NIT and averaging almost 7K fans a game - which is good for us. Now we'll be lucky to win 10 games and next year will have 2K in the stands if he is still here. Good game Zips and good luck the rest of the season.
