This is so cool. I love being able to watch our Rockets live on an ESPN network. Can't wait till the day we get a home game on ESPN.

There's a game at 11:00 Eastern on ESPNU this morning. If we're lucky, it won't be a foulfest, there won't be any video reviews and it will be a blowout (so teams aren't using all their timeouts at the end).

I mention this every couple of weeks (I'm probably overdoing it) but the 2-hour timeframe for college basketball on TV doesn't seem to work very well. At least that's my impression. The games run too long. I don't have any numbers to back that up, though.

100% correct. When a game gets behind, they start the next game 5-10 minutes later, which just pushes the rest of the games back. Give them 2:15. There was 1 day that FS1 had a day full of CBB, and they gave all games 2 hrs, but then had a 30 minute CBB show between each game.

Just had the under 8:00 minute media timeout. There's 7:59 left in the game, and it's 12:31 pm Eastern according to my computer. Maybe we'll be OK. I hope.

Unfortunately, it's a close game (6-point difference).

2-point game with 5:48 left, and a team just called a timeout (don't know if it was Coastal Carolina or Campbell).

Under 4:00 timeout. Coastal Carolina leads by 4 with 3:19 left.

2:47 left Coastal up 5.

1:58 left, and Campbell might start fouling now.

A team just took a timeout.

Campbell down 4 with 57.3 left and calls time.

Down 1 with 20.1 left: foul comes with 16.1 left.

Overtime will not make me happy.

Coastal Carolina calls time. Still 16.1 left.

Leads by 3.

Game's over.

If I'm a fan of Wichita State or Evansville, I'm not happy right now.

Several of us have said that we're hoping a men's game from Savage is on one of the ESPN channels this season. There's no sign of that yet (at least that I know of) but Wright State's game against Cleveland State is on ESPN2 today at 1:00 Eastern.

Wright State? Really?

No, I'm not jealous or bitter or anything.

Wright state isn't that good. Were expected to be one of the top teams in their league. That's the only way I can figure they're on espn2
