Amen brother. Towson in the FCS championship game is almost as unreal as NIU in the Orange bowl.

It's been an odd couple years watching my favorite teams in College football.

I have to respectfully disagree with some of the sentiment in this thread. There were A LOT of positives this year (and I'm not going to repeat them), but being the first MAC team to go 2-0 against the Big Ten in the regular season is a historic accomplishment.

You want to know what a waste is? Going 1-11. Watching Purdue this year sucked. It wasn't fun. Yes, NIU ended the season poorly....but I enjoyed the season. It was a fun ride.

Keep things in perspective.

Mehhhh.....I don't think it was a waste. Still the best college football team in Illinois. LOL! I'll take 12-2 any year. That means you're doing something right. You know what 12-2 for 4 years straight gets you? 48-8 and probably two more HCs over the next couple years but I will take reloading over rebuilding any day of the week!
