The one when he got kicked in the head and flipped the guys leg? The same one Galloway agreed was a bad call? Seriously? What other roughing call was there?
Edit: there was a roughing call at the end when the OL lineman shoved the d lineman after Tettleton took a shot. Should have been a penalty but far from dirty.
Tettleton took that shot because of that same lineman, he pushed our guy into your QB, then pushed him again. Not dirty, but really really stupid moment, just like our guy sling the Ohio player down after going outbounds. Guys lose the heads at times, the forget where they on the field or that a ref is watching.
The "late hit" in Ohio's LB was a bit tic-tacy, but the ref spoke wrong it was actually called unsportsmanlike conduct. He tackled our WR Isiah Jones and then threw his legs out of the way, that got the refs attention, but not what drew the flag, it was the talking smack right after. Again, not dirty, but not smart. Just make the play, high five your team mates and get ready for the next play.
The PI on the same drive was legit, sorry he bumped the WR with the ball in the air knocking away from being able to make a play on the ball.
But, the refs did not cost Ohio the game, 5 flags on Ohio, 9 on ECU, 3 the on ECU killed potential scoring drives.
Ohio had a good game plan, fought hard as long as they could, they just couldn't the KO punch they kept going for, ECU finally countered in the 4th and got a standing 10 count.
For me, know the team (ECU) the way I do, it was conditioning that won it. We just wore down Ohio until we broke through and started forcing TO and converted them into TD's.
