You caught us with our empty trophy case. Of course, you might want to give that thought. If we suck at getting trophies, but have more than you, where does it leave you? I swear the HUBRIS of some people from both teams is comical.

Hate to break the news, but ECU nor Marshall are football powerhouses on the cusp of greatness. They are both good programs with respectable history and a good fan base. Please, quit deluding yourself.

I don't think you get to play the "Empty Trophy Case" card on the program that has had the longest bowl winning streak in this century.

ECU has had one 10 win season since 1991, correct? Two CUSA titles, correct? How many times have you been ranked at the end of the season in the last decade or so, 2-3, correct? Wow, that's impressive.

How many crappy CUSA titles do you have? If you consider pee wee champions at the lower level, then by all means that screams big time football.

So sad this is all coming to an end. I guess ECU will have to go back to arguing with UCF and Marshall with have to go to arguing with...Southern Miss? UTSA?
