Our opponent comes in at No. 1.

Another lousy week, lousy game, and lousy season for UAB.

Waiting list: California (1-11), Purdon't (1-10), Cupcake Saturday, Western Michigan (1-10), Eastern Michigan (2-9), Pooh-poohing the Rose Bowl, Air Force (2-9), Kentucky (2-9), Oregon State's defense, UTEP (2-9), UAB (2-9), South Florida (2-8), Tennessee's in-state bragging rights, Virginia (2-9), NC State (3-8), Baylor's offense, Kansas (3-8), Army (3-7), Arkansas (3-8).

Kind of hard to look past your agenda.

For the record, we aren't in the Bottom 10.

If UAB beats Southern Miss, it will be the first time since 1987-1988 that a FBS school went winless in back-to-back seasons.

If UAB loses Saturday, UAB will be in the bottom 10.

...er, who's this butthurt Gump bastage who posts this? it's in the comments every week on the 'Bottom Ten'... er, hope it's OK to paste this... stupid mess... 04-chairshot

Andy Short · Sevierville, Tennessee
I have to say this every week for all of us who have been real fans who still went to the games, through the good times and the bad. Who also remembers when this fool said this and worst part of it he believed and hoped is was true. It always amazes me to see U.A.B on the list or on the waiting list because Rodney Gilmore @RodGilmore said some time ago that they had surpassed Alabama as the second best team in the state of Alabama.

RE: Back in ESPN's Bottom 10
Quote:At least Southern Miss and Hawaii fans will head into the holidays in good spirits. Both teams earned their first victories of the season in last week's finales. After spending every week at No. 1 in the Bottom 10 this season, the not-so-Golden Eagles blasted UAB 62-27 on Saturday, outscoring the Blazers 49-6 in the second half to end a 23-game losing streak. The Warriors beat Army 49-42 early Sunday morning, gaining 608 yards of offense to end an 11-game drought. The victories keep both teams out of this week's Bottom 10.

At least Alabama is ranked ahead of us in the list, coming in at #5 as Peter Griffin.

If UAT is Peter Griffin, doesn't that automatically make us the Chicken ?
