I don't care if you're playing in the SunBelt, CUSA, or the ACC; a 31 home game win streak is impressive and hard to do. That's a great streak for the Blue Raiders.

Looks exactly like a play I saw at the Miami-UNC game last year

Anyone else's team having problems figuring out how to play defense with these new rules?

UALR scored only 59 points tonight but 31 of those came from the free throw line. Thankfully, MT held them to 29% shooting or the streak would have ended tonight.

It's not equitable either. We're more athletic than UALR but we only shot 30. They freaking hit 31. These new rules are going to suck the life out of CBB.

The new rules favor the more athletic teams. The inferior athletes can't hand check to slow them down and help guard them. Superior athletes don't need to hand check to defend.

I think that's over simplification of how to look at it. That would suggest the team that blocked zero shots tonight is more athletic than the team that blocked 11. I don't believe that adds up.

Kermit coaches extremely physical. He has some of the most physical practices of any coach in the nation. He's going to have to adjust or we're going to lose some games simply because of the free throw line this year.

Congrats guys. After all the losses the conference had yesterday, I'm glad you guys got the day started off right today. Not sure how USA is this year, but I know they're typically a solid team.
