Are they playing in this game?
I'll have to go back and check Harsin's Press Conference to be sure. If they do play, you can be assured that Darius Rosser, the Freshman who started last week will get significant playing time.
Cajuns OL did not dominate our DL very much at all. The problem was that their DL dominated our OL so badly that it made both sides of the ball look worse. Four separate times in our game the Cajuns had to attempt FG's after driving deep into ASU territory. USA had to kick three field goals in similar spots, and threw an interception on the 4th drive.
We didn't look great against Troy in September, but have really picked things up defensively since that game. Texas State and ULM have both struggled on FG"s at times recently. We stand a good shot at wins in both if the defense holds them down.
I think the Cajuns OL did quite well against the ASTATE DL in the second half. After the staff made adjustments at half, the OL was getting a much better push off the line. Did they dominate the way they did against WKU or Texas State? Maybe not...but to say they didn't very much does not speak to the time of possesion and rushing yards in the second half. I would say they were pushed around more that night then against any other SBC program in some time.

stAte's defensive vulnerability is at LB, and to some degree Safety. I firmly believe that your DL will be dominant enough to cover up those vulnerabilities against ULM.

Yes, we have a great kicker who also punts and leads the conference in extra points, but his field goal accuracy has been suspect to say the least.
He's 4 of 7 in field goals but when you break it down he is 0/1 from the 20-29 yard range and 0/1 from 40-49 yards. But he's 4 of 5 from 30-39 yards which ain't bad. As long as we keep him between the 20- and 29-yard lines we'll be good!

You have it backwards. We play 2 actual LBs and both are solid. One is among the best defensive players in the league, Q. Lee. Safety is one of our most talented spots and we have depth.
Our DL depth is not good at all. We came into the year with 3 interior guys that had quite a bit of game experience and 2 DEs that had ever seen the field. We are playing a true freshman and a Juco who couldn't get on the field last year behind our 2 DEs. Behind our 3 interior guys is a guy who has barely played and moved back and forth between OL and DL, a JR who has barely played and a RS FR.
We were without one of our 3 interior guys against UL and lost another before the USA game. Carrethers was the only experienced DL we had left for USA but the other guys including a RS FR stepped up big time.
The other area that we are not as good as previous seasons is at the "Wolf" which is a hybrid safety/OLB. Frankie Jackson moved from RB to that position and Charleston Girley is playing there as a former walkon. They are coming along well but replacing Don Jones is not easy.

I still think you can pressure Browning and stop the interior run with your DL, without blitzing too often or over-committing LB's out of coverage. If you can, you win, so long as your cover guys stay with coverage rather than succumbing to the temptation to chase Browning before he crosses the LOS.

About to get on the road for this one. Last road game I attended was Memphis, so ULM fans should take heart in that.

Hail Cesar. Long floating pass for a touchdown. Guy yards past the defense, Browning just had to lay it up high and long. Easiest catch of the day from my perspective.
Red Wolves 7
ULM 7

This might be an elimination game as far as bowl consideration is concerned.
