My favorite trip in the conference. The fans treat you like family outside the stadium and ride you like a rented mule inside. Troy fans could learn a lot watching these guys in action. [/u]

All smack aside, I do not expect Troy to lose by 30 pts. UL's defense stayed on the field far too many reps Saturday, I don't see how they could possibly get their legs back with no days off. This will be a barn burner!

Not to be too snarky...but your signature is very distracting. Having a cheerleader airing out her hatchet wound while talking about doing it big. Where was I? I'm lost again...still staring into that crotch. Well played sir...well played.

Cajunbane, we actually agree about something. I post stuff about Troy and on the Troy board just hoping he will respond.

RE: Louisiana vs. Troy
We have a 10% chance of losing by 24 points or more
An 27% chance of losing by 18 points or more
A 41% chance of losing by 12 or more
A 58% chance of losing by 9 or more
A 76% chance of losing by 6 or more
A 83% chance of losing by 3 or more
A 86% chance of losing by 1 or more
A 10% chance of winning by 1 or more
A 13% chance of winning by 6 or more
And a 14% chance of winning by 10 or more.
no these are not accumulative
I could be wrong but that would be off by a +/- of 3 %
according to Gallup for this scientific poll.....with no science attached.
Total points by someone will be 78......collectively in some fashion.

The winning % have to be reversed. It is impossible to have a higher chance to win by 10 or more than to win by 1 or more. If they are reversed, the total chance of winning + the total chance of losing = 100%, which is by definition correct, since there are no ties in CFB.

Airing out her hatchet wound!??? I've lived on this Earth for 40 plus years and have never heard that before. Somewhere some how we crossed over to another dimension. We are talking about a football game Thursday night. These young people are really messed up. Hey you kids get off my thread!

We have scored in the 30s on everyone except MSU
After our performance on Saturday I would say this game is a toss up. If our defense shows up we will win by a bunch. If not it will be a scoring fest. How's your defense?

How's your defense? Well, let's see. We gave up:
31 pts to UAB
41 pts to stAte
62 pts to Miss St
38 pts to Duke
33 pts to SoAL
28 pts to GaSt
26 pts to WKU
49 pts to ULM
Pardon me, but what was your question again

RE: Louisiana vs. Troy
Louisiana has not played well in the first quarter since the TxSt game. In a couple of games they have not played well until late into the first half. I have no idea if this is failure to game plan right, or slow to adjust. I just do not believe it is a coincidence. The reason still mystifies me.
Troy will start out hot, and get hotter. This game will be decided in the last minute of the game, and just because it is at Cajun Field perhaps the Cajuns come back or hang on to win by single digits.
As usual turnovers are crucial, and if Troy can play a non dirty game it might even be big in their favor, but I doubt they can change their spots in one game, and will exceed their league leading penalty average.

and by the way it is correct as far as opinion.....the closer the game the less likely we are to win it....either way....

Louisiana played quite well against ASU in the first half. They will be ready for Troy, the question remains how consistant will the offense be early in the game. Should the offense get going early, that will give the defense reduced time on the field.
