Yeah it was one of the lower attended games that I've seen in probably 20+ years. For some of you that don't know, Huntington and the surrounding area had a really bad storm come through here early on Friday morning. Thousands in this region lost power and as of right now many still do not have power.

RE: USM @ Marshall Game Thread
I was at both the MT game and today's game in person. I was not one criticizing MT's attendance at all. I get it, weeknight games and cold weather suck. But as bad as our attendance was today (against 0-20 southern miss), there were 5 or 6 times as many butts in the seats than in Murfreesboro.

I also ran into a former MT player at the Nashville airport wearing a Vols shirt.

There are only two things worse than noon kickoffs... Brussell Sprouts and herpes.

It was a great day in the stadium today though. This is the kind of game that Herd bandwagon fans have been wishing about for years. And if you stayed home because you were protesting our 5-3 record or something, I'm glad you missed it.

Easy for you to say. For people that have large families with kids the priorities change just a little in events like that.

I do wonder where the students were, it's not fall break and their section was virtually empty.

12 o'clock will always do bad for us this time of year. How many people were missing due to the many youth league games? I know of several. Plus Ohio had some sort of state band competition. My section of regulars were all missing due to these obligations.
