I would be surprised. Maddie couldn't crack the top 2 while at WMU.
Maddie was not a fit for the offense at WMU. His abilities are better suited for an offense like our's.

I would be shocked if it were Maddie. It is McIntosh then Hare, in that order.

Maddie would have been 2nd or third string this year but potentially even farther back next year with cam Thomas coming off redshirt, Terrell coming back and chance Stewart coming in as a freshman.

I hope it's Maddie just so I can laugh at Fleck some more.

I don't know the exact circumstance behind Maddie's departure, but it's not all that uncommon when a new sheriff comes into town.
If Maddie stayed at WMU, he would've competed with Terrell (who's been starting in lieu of the injured starter) and 4-star recruit Chance Stewart, who many fans are - perhaps prematurally - penciling in as starter as a true freshman. EDIT: Forgot to mention Cam Thomas, too, as Ubish mentioned.
Our receiving corps will be pretty loaded for whoever gets the nod. '12 FOTY Jamie Wilson will be back from injury, frosh stud Corey Davis and Notre Dame transfer Justin Furgeson will be at his disposal for 3 years.

It will be quite a Spring Competition:
Jr. Phillip Ely- Alabama Transfer
Soph. Logan Woodside- Early enrollee- Owens backup
RFr. Michael Julian- Highly recruited offers included Clemson, Arizona, Wisconsin, NC State, Indiana, etc.
True Fr. Travis Smith- #40 QB Scout.com not sure if he will early enroll.
