Exclamation Rice @ NMSU Game Thread!
Interesting facts about NMSU, courtesy of various sources:
  • The university opened on January 21, 1890, when Las Cruces College merged with the New Mexico College of Agriculture and Mechanical Arts. The college was supposed to graduate its first student in 1893, but the senior was murdered before he was able to receive his diploma!
  • The Chile Pepper Institute at NMSU is an international research-based and non-profit organization specializing in research, education, and the archiving of information related to Capsicum, or chile peppers.
  • Part art gallery, part natural history museum, the Zuhl Collection at NMSU showcases thousands of beautiful specimens of petrified wood, fossils, and minerals. The majority of the pieces can be viewed at the Zuhl Museum but there are also displays in the Zuhl Library. There is no Dana. There is only Zuhl.

Bauer did not make the trip.

Leaves us really thin at DE.

ESPN3 is now showing the game on-line.

Announcers: Rice runs well because of McH. He's a dual threat. He'll be a handful for the NMSU defense. The rough part of the season is over for NMSU (no offense to Rice). NMSU needs to decide they aren't going to take any more losses.

Sure enough, JP is wrong, and NMSU will kick to the Owls.

Cerny: Rice is "just across the state line" in Texas, but this is the first meeting between these teams.

NMSU goes with the squib kick (?), nice work by Derek Brown to field cleanly.

I like the Aggie Vision broadcast. I feel closer to the action than usual.

Wow! Long completion for Rice! We're in the red zone!

Today's red zone is brought to you by the Chile Pepper Institute!
