^This, that's cheaper than I was expecting.
However, I think he just meant that people across the country won't be able to share the content as easily.

I pay $2.99 a month for 7 days a week I live in Great Bridge. My brother inlaw lives in Western Branch and pays $8.99 a month. Not sure if its done by location or what.

If you have a print sub, you'll get full access to the website. It's not hard to find a good deal on print subs.

RE: JMU TO C-USA?
Agree with Delaware, but their administration seem a bit out of touch. If there is an opening in the east, they would "bring the full package."
[/quote]
I think Delaware is looking smarter every day. All this shifting, how can you possibly tell if the conference you are moving to is the conference you will actually be competing in? Who were the teams in CUSA when ODU joined? Who will they be when this is settled?
At least Delaware knows they have a safe home with rivals they want (Villanova, W&M, UR) and they're actually a catalyst in building their conference to their liking. They would be fools to jump on the CUSA or Sun Belt carousels. Their isn't a single team in either one that Delaware would feel any relationship with.
I have to believe Rice is short for CUSA now as well. They will also move very quickly, particularly if the expansion candidates have come down to more FCS schools.

It appears that JMU to any FBS conference is a solution that ODU wants to see quickly. Preferably before the new stadium is built.

The CAA is on life support and is looking more like the SoCon everyday.

The ODU Admin. probably does want it, but our program will be fine with or without them in a FBS conference.

RE: JMU TO C-USA?
JMU as an FBS is a guaranteed sellout in the new stadium every other year, regardless of 28k or 38k. That can't be said for many other teams we would be looking to schedule.
Every other year we could schedule this:
(H) FCS Home Opener-Sellout
(H)-JMU-Sellout
(A)-BCS
(H)BCS return game-Sellout or Navy, ECU
4 CUSA games-sellouts

And CUSA is looking more and more like the Sun Belt and is certainly no more stable - if as stable - as the CAA. I think most in the CAA are pleased with their additions, I don't get the same impression from the CUSA schools.

This CUSA school is ecstatic to be out of the CAA and in CUSA. And we get to kick the living crap out of a CAA newcomer this week, Albany.

That's great, you should be and no one is begging you to come back. The CAA will be just fine. I'm not knocking your move.
As far as UAlbany, I wouldn't be bragging about a beat down, they will likely get kicked by everyone in the CAA as well. I don't think you moved to CUSA so you can feel good about beating UAlbany.

Not since we moved here. So No. And not since you've become irrelevant to us.

Sort of like how we were gonna get kicked around by every caa team in our first two years in the league too?
Go back to your board, you're not in the cusa, you're not going cusa and no one wants you here.

One word/name Elon..sure. The CAA is near death post VCU, ODU, GMU and JMU leaving would take the conference to flat line.
It's a fact that JMU is fcs and that jumping to any 1A conference is a jump "up"...and those programs already "up" use the words startup and don't want in the same sentence.
It's also a fact that the 1A conferences that JMU is researching and vice versa would see an increase in both attendance and athletic budget the day JMU joins...how is that a start up? maybe those programs in CUSA?MAC/SB need some starting up at home too...

The distinction "startup" would be used properly to describe Charlotte this season or ODU five seasons ago. Most posts I have read on the main board refer to JMU correctly as FCS. I have nothing against JMU moving up to FBS, however it has been my contention that those C*USA schools which remain from the past have very little appetite for adding more FCS move ups at this time.
