The bottom line - it's not right and it hasn't ever been right. The UA BOT doesn't care. How do I know? By their actions!

Now, if this Johns person is pro-Birmingham, I hope he is pro-UAB, and it sounds like he is. However, he is still a UAT grad. UAB is still underrepresented on the Board, and UAH has zero representation.

There are a lot of UAB grads that are pro UAT.

Sad, but true.

Mr. Johns will be fair. If you followed his career and civic involvement, he has been outspoken when the time called for it. My impression of him (from the short time that I worked at Protective) is that while he is not one to make waves, I do not think he is on the Board to simply be a part of the ride.

To echo a point already made, if he does right by UAB, I don't give a flying fig where (or even IF) he went to college.

Exactly

I will say I know one UAB grad on there who is 100% behind UAB and the OCS. Yes I have spoke to this person IN person.

Well if they told you in person, it must be true. We all know they would never lie IN person.

Does she live in Mobile or Birmingham? Because our illustrious trustee from the First Congressional District was on TV talking about how we had to be good stewards of money blah blah blah like we were trying to buy the thing with a loan from TitleMAX

They are politicians and like politicians, they say what the person listening to them want to hear. She knew he was a Blazer supporter so that's the speech he got.

But, hey, at least they have UAB degrees. That's all that is important.
