This actually scares me. NW State beat the same opponent Houston beat in game one by about a TD or so less scoring margin (55-14 I think). If you play the "score algebra" game, that puts NW State up there with Houston in terms of opponent quality.

But, I think we were embarrassed, will come out more focused, and will be OK. But the QB picture is still murky.

I agree 100%, it reminds me a lot of that game, except I don't think we win comfortably. This team after beating a REALLY bad Purdue team (they beat Indiana State by 6, after Indiana put like 73 on the same Sycamores team the week before) got exposed and beaten handily by a very mediocre Illinois team. I for one thought we were gonna roll in that game and that we were far better than we actually are. Now it is back to reality and what I think will be a game closer than we all think...hopefully I am wrong. I still think UC because of our terribly weak schedule goes in the vicinity of 8-4, unless this teams improves dramatically and can show that they can beat a semi-legit team (Houston, Rutgers, etc.), 10-2 is a reach.
