We probably should play them around the end of the season not the first game since we take the outcome so harshly.
That wasn't some miracle that Troy pulled off. It was UAB choking just like always. Do awesome for the first half, 3/4, 7/8 of the game and then cough it up at the end like you're the French Army

So you're OK with UAB being the butt of every joke told on sports radio in the City of Birmingham? I'm tired of hearing "it takes time" or "it'll happen soon!" I've been hearing that for nearly 14 years now, and some people have been hearing it for longer.
Ah, as some of them have said "it was only one game".

It's not that I'm Ok with the outcome or the possible jokes but the game is over all we have is next week. So Put some positive energy in and just maybe we get some positive energy out. We will be fine all is not lost.

UAB has lost, correct me if I'm wrong, 3 times in a row to Troy, the last couple of times were, IMO, games that UAB could and should have won. This program should have evolved well beyond what I'm afraid to say, many have grown accustomed to seeing on a regular basis, which is what we witnessed in "Goatland" last night. Sure there were some improvements in some areas, but where it counted the most, especially defense, none! Zero! Nada! Zilch! Insanity is doing the same things over and over and expecting a different result. Trying as I am to understand and hang in there, these kinds of games make it (bleeping) hard to maintain and carry on. When is the "culture of losing" going to finally disappear from this program or is the spectre still there, stronger than ever this time?
