Defense wins championships. UAB's defense has been suspect for many years now, and remains its weakest component. Having said that, Ganus was a force in the first half.

Losing Backman before halftime gave me an uneasy feeling about the outcome of the game.

Getting Backman back, and Henderson eligible for this weeks game, I hope we can pound the ball with some 2 TE sets, and eat some clock in Baton Rouge.

There is not a quicker defensive front in college football than LSU.

They are very fast and physical..........watched them against TCU.
