The troll, He1nousOne (a Big Ten/Iowa fan) just doesn't quit. He now comes here to spew his stupidity about the Big 12, like he does on the Big 12 message boards.
Nothing against Memphis or Memphis fans, but the Big 12 is not expanding any time soon. The commissioner stated the conference's position on expansion numerous times. This isn't anything new. For those who want to believe otherwise, it is easy to google this information.
Also, Texas (UT) and Oklahoma (OU) are not going anywhere. Big Ten fans want to believe Texas would consider moving to the Big Ten in the future. In our part of the country, people find Rust Belt Conference football boring and slow. And now they add Rutgers and Maryland?
With the addition of the Liberty Bowl, this is what our bowl line up will look like in 2014:
Big 12 Lineup starting in 2014
1. Teams in the playoffs.
2. Sugar Bowl (New Orleans) vs SEC
3. Alamo Bowl (San Antonio) vs Pac 12
4. Russell Athletic Bowl (Orlando) vs ACC or ND
5. Liberty Bowl (Memphis) vs SEC (tba soon)
6. Texas Bowl (Houston) vs SEC
7. Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl (Tempe AZ) vs Pac 12
8. Heart of Dallas Bowl (Dallas) vs C-USA (tba soon)
Sadly, it looks like the AAC is losing some of its bowl tie-ins:
