I guess you must have just missed the dozen or so times when I've clearly stated that more gun laws won't solve anything.

And doesn't it stand to reason that someone who commits a murder is usually sure they'll get away with it?

But I'm sure you're right in that these lowly murderers are all competently versed in what crimes in their particular state carry death penalty classifications and which do not so they can avoid those crimes altogether.
