Great talent that plays and practices hard and listens cannot be stopped. The concept of coaching up players is over blown. Coaches job is to be positive and to get players to believe they are good and to be good teammates. Monty has done this. Talent will win out. The roster is not complete and the best player is yet to come. I am predicting a MACC this year!

Nothing on the waiver front yet. Yes, I believe there is another player coming that is at the Silas level. Not sure of his status for this year. I believe he is a transfer from a BCS school. Nothing is official, so I could be wrong, but I don't think I'am.

If I were Therloff I would take the year off for personal reasons, but good for him if he decides to play.

Great, we have a whole new roster. There won't be any cohesiveness at all. And don't spew some crap saying Kentucky replaces their whole roster every year. Their talent level is WAY higher than NIUs. This will be another crap season. Maybe if we can get these players to stay more than one year, they might gel into a nice team. This season will be BAD.

Did you really want to make sure the "cohesiveness" from last year stays this year? .500 might be a lot to ask but no one can argue this is the most talent we have had on the roster in a very very long time.

If we have a transfer coming, we better know soon as school is about to start.

If you get players that play together from year to year, they will get better. We don't have the talent to assemble a 1 and done all-star team. The MAC is a "relatively" stable league and the players need to committ to the program and improve each year.

Niusfactuary, you clearly don't know the team! Bolin, Bowie, Baker, Balls, Gray twins, Christian, Cravatta all were here and Rakocevic sat out as a transfer. The object of recruiting is to have a better class than your last one. Most of the returning guys were role players not starters. I have said many times in the past that when the Gray twins become bench players, the bball team will have a chance to be good. That time has arrived.

For future reference though niudos, if you are going to have a subject titled 2013 basketball roster, it might be helpful if it had actually been released lol
