In St. Louis, I'd have to go with Don Denkinger. Bill Bidwell is probably up there too, although his move out of town wasn't quite Art Modell-like because a) the NFL Cardinals sucked and b) the Rams moved here and brought the GSOT with them.

Was that the same ref who called illegal procedure on Arkansas State when we recovered an onside kick at Austin and resulted in a nice little letter from the Big XII telling Arkansas State "Oooops"

I forgot about Bidwell... yeah, I'd probably put him up there as the number one. (Although i know a lot of Missourians hated Georgia Frontiere).

Bill Belichick might be up there too for the infamous Super Bowl video taping incident.

That's who I would've thought for St. Louis. The Cardinals are everything to that town.

Pryor's got nothing on Danny Kendra. Man, when he signed for FSU after verbal'ing to PSU, not only did PSU fans wash their hands of him, but so did the eastern PA media, especially the Lehigh Valley.

In Philly? Joe Carter and JD Drew. Not fond of Drew's agent at the time, Boras, either. You just know that when he's attached to a player, Philly won't get him, and if a guy on the roster hires him, his days as a Phil are numbered.

In Metro Louisville it's Calipari.
In Bug Tussle and every other inbred burg in this state it's whomever the last uk basketball coach is / was. Rick, Tubby, Billy G.....the next one will be Calipari.

Not that long ago I would have said Phil Fulmer for Alabama-he skipped SEC Media Days out of fear of getting a subpoena. The tension was very thick between the Alabama and Tennessee fan bases.

The only person I can think of that is hated in Missouri is the KC Royals owner, he is a former Walmart CEO and runs the team like walmart, all about profits and won't sell the team to the sporting KC owners who would like to turn the royals into a winner.
