Top 10 Toledo plays of 2012!?
What's your top 10 if you could put a few in order. I am in the process of putting a video together with the UT video production team and I'd like some input on the fans favorite moments.

How 'bout Reedy's 91 yd KO return against Cinci?
Then you have to seriously consider Robinson's 75 yd pick-6 against Cinci.
And you have to respect at least one of Detmer's 5 FG's in the Cinci game.
Maybe Flu's 53 yard score against WMU?
Then Jordan Haden's 63 yd pick-6 against WMU.

EMU had a plethora of long plays by reedy, Zo, and Flu.
Molls' pick vs. NIU was a great play.
Maybe the BG Zo TD.
hmmm...

First home game, I believe. During one of those tv breaks they recognized military personal, Rousing standing O. I'll have to let my memory refresh. I know they did this nearly every game but there was something particularly special that day.

Are we just talking football here? Otherwise Rian Pearson should have about three of them. Football I remember Fluellen busting open the WMU game with a long run early.

Martel Moore's 73 yd TD against you guys...I kid I kid. Dan Molls interception was a nice play though. I'd think Robinson's pick 6 against Cincy would be near the top.

I always loved Flu's long run against Cincy where he lowers the shoulder to run over the defensive back at the end of the run.

There were some good defensive plays against Arizona. Robinson INT for sure. Then, in the second half where we needed a stop on 3rd or 4th and short, I one of our bigger DL guys stood up Kadeem Carey on the left side of the defensive line, but I can't find any video of it. Loved that play when I saw it live.
Reedy's EMU performance in the 3rd quarter.
Russel's long TD vs BG
Although not considered one play. Flu and OL grind out the last six minutes of clock vs Cincy.
Molls against BG - slams Samuel into the turf for a loss (around :39)

Norill's hit against BG receiver

You know, I've never actually understood that. Yards could have been gained and injury risk lowered. Runners effectively throw their weight off-balance, off their CG, they tackle themselves when a step over would SEEM to gain more yards and keep someone on their feet. On the line, I get it. In the open field against the last tackler, I do not get it. Do they teach the runners to do that? Instinctive reaction?

I think it is instinctive. He was nearing the sideline and was sensing the end of the run, so he tried to punish the would-be tackler. I don't think this is a bad thing because when the offense becomes the aggressor, it sends a message and the dude will be more reluctant to tackle the next time. I do agree though, a step over would have gained more yards, but do I love to see that type of aggressive running from a RB.

I thought about that, then wondered whether anything against EMU should count. Then again, it was really the D that had the let down that day.
