I'd be surprised if we did sell 37K this year since we're projected to have a mediocre season

I think we'll get to at least 34K though
WV will be fortunate to finish ahead of KU this season.... No defense + a new starting QB - receivers = its over for WV before the season starts. Nevertheless, I will still root for WV to beat ever school in the B12....
Want to bet on that, dog?

I like the way this season is setting up. Nobody is expecting anything from WVU, even most WVU fans, because of what was lost on offense - and the fact that the replacement pieces haven't been settled yet. It reminds me a lot of the way 2005 started out. WVU had a lot of depth at RB (Gwaltney, Slaton, Schmitt) and an unsettled QB situation (Bednarik, White)...

This year the Mountaineers are very deep at RB and WR, and have talented depth at all positions for the first time ever. The QB situation is unsettled, but WVU has 3 talented players battling for the job. A key injury shouldn't derail this team, like has happened to other WVU teams. I've got a feeling a lot of people are going to be surprised by WVU's play - including Mountaineer fans...
Here’s WV’s 2013 schedule:

http://www.fbschedules.com/ncaa-13/big-e...hedule.php

I'll bet you an “I root for and signature” change for however long we agree to that WV is bowl ineligible by the end of the season. You have to change yours to “I root for the American” and display this form of the American in your signature:

If I lose, I’ll change who I root for to the BIG XII and will display its logo in my signature. I'll let you pick the BIG XII pic for my signature. I'm even willing to display the one that you currently use.

So do you still want to bet B12 dog?
I see you want to change the bet. I was talking about your comment, "WV will be fortunate to finish ahead of KU this season", when I made my bet offer. Now you want to change the bet, because I'd say you - like me - figure WVU will have no problem finishing ahead of Kansas...

I'll pass on your sig bet, even though I expect WVU to go 8-4 or better this season. My bet was WVU finishing ahead of Kansas, which you claimed was a long shot. If you don't like that bet, then your bet with OGB will have to do...

Agreed. The one time I went to Morgantown I was treated well by all with the exception of the students. I'll leave that issue alone as I believe steps have been taken to correct them.

I actually made a few friends up there during my trip. Anyway, my point is that you are correct.

I would be fine with playing occasionally in Charlotte but I would also like to go up to DC and possibly even down to Atlanta or over to Nashville. Let's just change it up a bit... we can play every third game at a neutral site. I would be fine with that.

why in the world would WVU play ECU in DC or Atlanta or Nashville?

DC is not a lot further from ECU than Charlotte is, and I could see ECU maybe wanting to change up the places we play neutral site games. Atlanta and Nashville don't really make sense but DC would for both sides.

you're assuming that ECU is important enough to WVU to warrant moving a neutral site game from Charlotte

I would hope that if Ollie was trying to get a neutral site game in Atlanta or Nashville, it wouldn't be against an AAC team-no offense. If we could get a neutral site game against say big 4 team or even an ACC team, it would be worth it.

There's no scheduled neutral site game between us yet. There is a 6 game home and home series that's probably going to be changed. It was your side who brought up changing it to home/home/neutral not ours, and quite frankly I'm just assuming your a piece of crap like your scumbag coach.

WVU currently has 4 home and home games scheduled with ECU (2 games were bought out, b0ndsj0ns). If WVU can combine one home and one away game in the 4 game series into one neutral site game at Charlotte, it would be a good alternative for both schools, if what I think is going on is in the works. Charlotte is WVU's largest alumni chapter in the south, and ECU has plenty of alums in the area as well...

if Ollie is trying to get a neutral site game in Atlanta or Nashville, I would hope it's to replace the Liberty game on the 2015 schedule. Why that game was even scheduled is beyond me...

RE: Question for ECU fans...
I have no idea why people would get their nose in a snit over this or why anyone would take seriously anything that drunk has to say about anything?

As for the part about WVU having more fans at Heinz Field than Pitt fans, to that I say hey, if you are up for a game every year at Heinz Field, I think Pitt would be more than amenable to that request. We just won't be making a return trip to Dogpatch.

Personally I think it was just example of a drunk seeing double and talking out of his arse.

Looks like we may be changing it to home and home and then a neutral site game in Charlotte. I'm personally ok with this as I enjoy playing you guys. Thoughts?

Holgs also takes some shots at you guys,Pitt and Marshall in this article.

Coach Ruff had a few thoughts on this matter. I didn't know they knew each other and if he called him up, I bet that would be on interesting conversation.

"Growing up, if a guy in the neighborhood got into trouble or had pressure on him or had heat on him, he’d tend to try to blame someone else,” McNeill said. “We called it heat redirection. I’m not saying this is heat redirection, I’m just saying that’s what guys did growing up."

Ha ha, love ya Coach Ruff.

It was tongue in cheek. We aren't giving our arch rival a one and done when we have no trouble signing other top schools in this region.

Seriously how the hell do you guys keep your athletic dept afloat when your tickets are going for $ .99 on the open market? How much are your season tickets this year? $100 with no donation?

He handled that well enough. Got a few jabs in but didn't sling too much mud. It was interesting he went so hard after ECU being that a lot of people he coached with are on the ECU staff. I would think he, Ruff, and Riley likely have pretty good relationships, but maybe they don't.
