Just gotta say how i enjoyed reading the article yesterday on tony pollard and his family and how one memphis business is celebrating Tony ending that streak.

Hometown kid breaks homegrown streak.

Then (the tigers) put a guy back there who knew about the streak because he had been hearing about it for years, and took it personally.

“Me being from here, when they put me back there, I felt that it was only right that I had to break the streak,” Pollard said. “Memphis gave me my first scholarship offer out of school.
