The aac has to play waiting game because they have zero leverage. There is a reason why aresco and all the other g5 commishes can't announce any bowl affiliations yet. Hence the food chain argument and that's not exactly science either. So again im not sure what part set you off. I only said it because im tired of hearing how somehow Memphis fans have some special wand they can wave at the liberty bowl people. They cant do anything and people just need a reality jab to the face. The bowls are playing out just like the conferences are structured. Big 12/SEC makes all the financial sense in the world for Memphis they wont have one face base who wont bring a ton of fans.
