yes correct...which is why Memphis was passed over in 2005 for Big East membership...which leads me back to the point I was making the other day: college football is the big wheel. Hoops sucks hind tit and it is what it is....and i love college hoops. UC has had a lot more over the decades to root about in hoops vs football. But since we have been pretty good in football, I have become a HUGE fan and actually like it more than hoops now.

I'm talking conference as a whole...as in perceived prestige, media payout, average attendance, etc etc etc....the gap is that big and it's going to get bigger.

I think UC/UCONN will end up in a P5 or whatever it will be...but as far as conferences go, this is how it looks...

I look to the positive in every situation. I just wanted to see our football improve and no matter what is happening in the league. Memphis just needs to do it and nobody else.
