Nothing really earth-shattering here, except perhaps I didn't really know JJ coming back was such a surprise.

But since I haven't seen this posted here yet, I thought I'd post it.

Thanks for posting. Beg to differ on the author's offer that Josh "[took] taking a page out of Calipari's...." anything. Josh is his own man. If anything holds to the metaphor, Calipari could take a page or two from Pastner. ...Overall W's. Records. National Championships. Experience. Ya-da-ya-da-yada. Just wait. The birds will come home to roost one of these days.

I notice that. I guess he is talking about the incoming "freshman" class but not even mentioning the potential of having Dixon along with JJ is missing how high this team came go

Mentioned Tarik as a departure and loss of rebounding but failed to mention Pellom and the gain in rebounding. Terrible research.

It was an article pieced together from other articles. Unless you count google as research, there was none

This is a good example of sloppy Journalism. Why write a story and not to all the research and get your facts straight?

Google is a great research tool. You have to know how to use it though.

To get paid. Journalistic integrity is no longer a badge of honor. Reporting no longer requires getting facts, just put something together that readers will read and collect a paycheck. Controversy sells regardless if it is fact or fiction.

Am I the only one that won't miss Rutgers? These writers act like they're as good or better than UL...I'll miss UL much more.

Rutgers last year: Overall: 15-16
vs AAC: 5-13

Why are we sad they are leaving?

Nope, they are some of the biggest elitist snobs around. The biggest when you consider what they have done in sports which isn't much.

They would have been cool to have around for football, from a competitive standpoint, and from a road trip to NYC standpoint.

Agree- should have been aware of Pellom and Dixon.

Losing 1/3 of your rebounding is hardly fatal anyway.

Memphis will be really good. Whether our kids are elite level- we shall see, Certainly possible.

Iverson is a defensive stopper? First I've heard that, would be great if true.
