The Mid-American Conference and ESPN have announced that 2013 MAC Football Media Day will be shown live nationally on ESPN3. The broadcast will highlight the league’s annual kickoff event on Tuesday, July 23 at 9:00 am ET at Ford Field in Detroit.

In addition to conference players and coaches, MAC Commissioner Dr. Jon Steinbrecher and Bill Carollo, Coordinator of Football Officials for the Midwest Football Officials Alliance, will be attendance.

ESPN3’s Michael Reghi and Doug Graber will serve as hosts. (Insert noise here.)

I hate the way that Reghi always says "Toledo's Rockets" or "Miami's Redhawks", etc. It's so freakin' annoying.

I almost get the impression that Coach Campbell was a little slighted that the Rockets weren't voted to finish 1st in the West. That's OK, I hope he can use that as motivation.

I so want to see our defense back to the state it was in, not so many years ago, when the whole stadium would yell the name of certain players.

I still remember an interview with Sameer Hamood where he was asked what he thought about the crowd yelling his name. He said at first he thought we were booing him, then another player told him, "Naw man, they're yelling your name!" He felt pretty good about that.

Rocket fans love their "D". No question about it.
