If the only thing different about Marshall is the conference they play in then why are they 30-34(.469) vs CUSA teams and just 3-3(.500) vs MAC teams since changing conferences? Shouldn't they be still dominating the "inferior"MAC teams? Shouldn't they be dominating even more with all the power and the glory that comes from being a superior league as grand as CUSA?

Depends on what you mean by "struggles." Do I think they would have been as effective if they played while Marshall was in C-USA rather than when they were in the MAC? No.

Depends on what you mean by "struggles." Do I think they would have been as effective if they played while Marshall was in C-USA rather than when they were in the MAC? No.

Don't even bother with the MAC guys. They would rather argue subjective statements instead of looking at objective ingormation. Bottom line is the MAC is a good conference tat has a few teams that feel like they're better than the AAC teams even though data suggests otherwise.

I love how a bunch of you AAC fans like to point out that Marshall was good in the MAC, but bad in CUSA, yet neglect to mention that UCF was horrible in the MAC (0-11 in their last year), and then went to the CUSA Championship the VERY NEXT YEAR.

Consider your source. UC Media Guide says 4-3 UC. I'll stick with the reputable source.

Edit: Before you guys get your panties in a bunch - Toledo Media Guide says the same - 4-3 UC leading series.

Well here's a note on the sports-reference page, so this probably explains the discrepancy:

All time record is 4-3-0 in Cincy's favor per college football data warehouse.
