Because ECU's two worst years came during the last 10 years that Tard brought up. The 1 and 2 win seasons are clear outliers. Toledo's 3-9 year, while bad, isn't a significant outlier due to the three 5 win seasons surrounding it.

It's really irrelevant though. Toledo still managed not even 1 win more per year than ECU against inferior competition. (Ignoring conference games since ECU and Toledo won a respective .613 and .633 percent of the games against conference mates.)

About your signature, Toledo beat a 3 win Michigan team by 3 in the only meeting; and a 5 win Penn State in the only game with them. So i guess technically you're right, but it's not like Toledo sports multiple wins over either of them.

No idea where you got that from. You don't want to give the MAC any credit for playing and beating Big Ten teams but want credit for beating Duke and Wake Forest. You still never answered the question of how many FBS opponents you have played. Just keep it in the last ten years for recent history. How many is it and what is your record against them? Going off memory only, I can remember us playing 1 in the last decade, and it was a win.

To me, the MAC was all about Marshall dominating and then I saw them come to C-USA, and look at their performance since they joined C-USA. Not really even close to their performance in the MAC. So I look at Marshall, and say to myself- What makes any MAC team think they can be better overall than any of the teams in C-USA or the AAC if the former dominant team in the conference is struggling so much?

At Cryami of Ohio if-when they beat a BCS team they call that a Tomahawk win, at UC we call that
normal.

Using your same line of reasoning explain how UCF were 10-25 in the 3 seasons in the MAC and 22-17 their first 3 years in CUSA.

Do you expect them to say that they started playing better teams and are having trouble being competitive? They'll blame it on a bad coach, or students getting kicked out of the program.
