My friends mom has a beach house on the bay and they are hosting a BBQ. Unfortunately, my friend is a JMU grad so there will probably be a lot of Pukes there. The good news is that I'm bringing good beer and I don't have to work Friday either.

Going to the 150th anniversary at gettysburg. hoping for a different outcome this time.

6 a.m. flight to Seattle out of N'awlins. Rental car to Astoria, Oregon. 3 days on Oregon coast....2.5 days in/around Seattle....2 days in Vancouver and an inside passage cruise. Of course not ALL on the 4th - but the 4th is kickoff.

I'll be working... But I do work in baseball, so I suppose it could be worse.

Family gathering at Noon. Later a AAA baseball game between Nashville and Memphis followed by a fireworks show, then home to a fridge full of Budweiser and hopefully catch the last few innings of a Cardinals win at the Angels. Albert who?

I will definitely check this out. Thanks for the tip. I've never been to Destin so I'm pretty excited.

My fraternity rented out a boat to go fishing out on the ocean. We're gonna fry the suckers that we catch, hopefully some Dolphinfish. Then it's all about good tunes, good drinks, and good company while blowing some stuff up.

South of I-40 between Nashville and Knoxville. That's the highest "single fall" waterfall east of the Rockies. It's a great visit in a park that's not widely known outside of TN. Fall Creek Falls, Lynchburg, and the Sewanee area make up a good 2-3 day weekend.

Near McMinnville, TN. Believe it is part of the same "mountain" system as Cumberland Falls in Kentucky

Go to a Birmingham Barons game...They're playing the Mississippi Braves that evening.

Will be in Washington, D.C. with the significant other for a 3 day trip.

Work my butt off trying to save my tobacco, soybean and sorghum crops (black angus cows are ok)........we have had way to much rain......don't remember the last time I did not work a 4th of July.....y'all have fun
