I hope ASU is very successful in pulling all of the listed endeavors off, have to admit, was surprised in reading in your post that ASU is interested in taking a run at the Super 6. When you have the resources to work with, the sky's the limit. Grab all the gusto you can...I'd like to see that happen, and will surely aspire to attend some of the action should ASU strike paydirt.

I think it would be great if ASU could get the Super Six. Montgomery is a bit more centrally located, so it would be good for the families in more distant areas of the state.
I seriously doubt that UA/AU will give them up easily though. It's too big a recruiting advantage, even every other year.

I think the Alabama have their heads stuck .........................let’s just say in the sand when it comes down to the new stadium at UAB. I think the city and UAB would benefit so much with having the new facility. I hate that the BOT has that "make sure UAB football fails" mentality that is just downright awful.

Oh, they won't want to share that "spotlight" with any other university in this state, new facility or not, that's their "private sandbox" to play in and grab new "playmates", everyone else be damned. I'll be interested in hearing the justification for excluding ASU from wanting to host this event by the so-called movers and shakers of the Super 6.
