Love the CUSA angle too. Shows the coaches are giving a focus to the players.

That map shows "Owl Nation" as existing in the Gulf of Mexico.


On the other hand, it looks pretty cool.

Yes ECU is the first to use nickname/nation as a slogan, congrats.

Hey I'm a Graphic Artist/Designer.........

The issue I have with it is the red script type face on a black back ground, make really hard to read. Well and the use of more than two fonts in one piece. But, overall not bad.

See I didnt go Pirate on this, although I can see how you would get that.

My first thought was Spanish Exploration (Ponce de Leon) and old world maps along the lines of "Here there be Sea Monsters"

Florida and Boca Raton does have a lot of that history behind it, as indicated in the City Seal below.

That one is from 89 but we had one as far back as '75
