The one constant that could make this true is that their has been a lot of UCF/USF chatter that will just not go away. I have seen this with other realignment in the past three to four years. Rumors about A&M, Louisville, Maryland, Rutgers, WVU, Pitt, Missouri, and Syracuse. Repeated stories that were refuted by the schools and conferences, but later came to pass. I know there are some rumors that have not come true for whatever reason, but many have. I guess we will see.

The ucf/usf combo have a 50/50 shot at getting in. Either they will or they wont. For every georgia tech to the BIG there is a memphis to big east (presser next tuesday). it may not be anything to it only time will tell.

If the FL twins do move, who does the AAC grab?

I believe Louisville moved didn't they? I think I said some rumors didn't. I forgot that ECU rumors finally came true as well.

Louisville was hardly rumored to the ACC when it happened. There were tons of "done deals" of them to the B12 though.

Correct in that the Louisville/Big XII rumor lasted longer, but I remember the Louisville vs UConn to the ACC rumors that went on for a while as well.

UConn should just beg the B1G. UConn and Mizzou to the B1G. SEC backfills with UC. Everyone is happy sans the rest of the AAC. Otherwise, I don't see those programs recovering without a Florida anchor. I don't see this happening though.

UC to the SEC won't happen. Would have been a great add for Louisville in the ACC. They should have gone together no matter what the conference turned out to be.

Marshall would top the list. They have rivalries with ECU & are east coast based making UCONN & Cincy happy. Also Marshall is a known name in the cfb world not just b/c of the movie but they were a national brand & espn darlings in the late 90's & early 00's.

ECU might block Charlotte but ODU could make it. Id love to see my EAGLES back witj our old conference mates but we dont have the tv draw to pull it off.

Thing is, I'm skeptical about the founding assumption of both Florida schools going. Wait six years and see if one of the schools starts to make a name for itself, and then the Big12 can take the most successful of the two Florida Schools in The American plus UC. Given a reluctance to go to twelve, and an even greater reluctance to get past twelve, taking two Directional Floridas now in hopes that one, the other or both will bust a move after they move up is seriously risking wasting a spot.

Now if it was FSU, they have a big enough name to start making demands about travel partners, etc ... but if its UCF or USF, then they'll not be in any position to be anywhere near so demanding, if it means a call up to a Power Conference.
