If the Belt goes to 12 who would you like to be your permanent partner in the other division?

Gotta agree Texas state would be a nice rival. Second choice would be the ULL.

Kind of like the SEC where you play 6 in your division and 2 in the other division. One of the two in the other division rotates but the other you play every year. That one you play every year from the other division is your permanent crossover partner.

RE: Permanent partners
Pretty much: If we play with 12 teams, you'll play your entire division once per year, and then three crossover games against the other division. There are a thousand ways to set up those games, but my guess is that you will play one west division opponent every year, while the other two teams rotate in and out every 2 years.

RE: Permanent partners
It helps build rivalries.

I'd pick Texas St., Ark st., ULL in that order. Texas St first only due to friends in that area would give my wife an excuse to travel to another game.

Whoever gets App will get one of the best fall destinations every other year, rent a cabin for the weekend, I guarantee you'll want to come back.

Imagine the pre-game video fight we could have. "Hot, Hot, Hot" versus the "Back in Black Skeleton Erotica"
