Thursday night NFL schedule
For those thinking the NFL was going to back down and keep it weak on Thursday nights...
Sep 5 Baltimore @ Denver
Sep 12 NY Jets @ New England
Sep 19 Kansas Ciy @ Philadelphia
Sep 26 San Francisco @ St Louis
Oct 3 Buffalo @ Cleveland
Oct 10 NY Giants @ Chicago
Oct 17 Seattle @ Arizona
Oct 24 Carolina @ Tampa Bay
Oct 31 Cincinnati @ Miami
Nov 7 Washington @ Minnesota
Nov 14 Indianapolis @ Tennessee
Nov 21 New Orleans @ Atlanta
schedule MUCH stronger this year than it was last year. Only 3 games with no playoff teams in the game- and one of those is KC @ Philly(with Andy Reid coming back into Philly).

RE: Thursday night NFL schedule
The NFL wants every team on primetime (either SNF or ThNF) at least once each season. That said, that is why many of the first few games on this slate are the low-end NFL teams (St. Louis, Buffalo, Cleveland, KC).

Don't forget:
Nov 28 Pittsburgh at Baltimore (NBC)
Dec 5 Houston at Jacksonville
Dec 12 San Diego at Denver
All involve at least one playoff team. November 28 and December 5 will both be going up against college games on ESPN.

wouldn't call a 7-8-1 St Louis team a low-end NFL team.
Really only 1 dog game I think and that's Cleveland/Buffalo. That and Philly/KC(though that game has a huge storyline). All in all, it's a MUCH stronger schedule this year than it was last year. Esp during the part where it's going up vs College fb.

Well enjoy St. Louis even more, we have MNF against the Seahawks this year too. Finally some payback, this will be the third out of the last four years we've ended our season in Seattle.

Definitely puts a crimp in the colleges efforts to expand revenue. There won't be any new expansion of TH night games. This will hurt ACC who has been TH night regular. Pros own Sunday and Monday and are now taking over Thursday.

They haven't had a winning record in a decade. That's low-end.
