He was camped out in line at Regions for a few weeks to make sure he had the first hot dog.

I promise you, I have neither the patience or the stamina to pull off a stunt like that. I was, however in line at 3:30, 90 minutes before they cut the blue ribbon and opened the place up to all. Standing in line that long did arouse my appetite, I'd already made up mind to lock and load on the concession stand. I wasn't even the first person to walk into the joint, there had to be about 40 people ahead of me.

So you did it did not take the first dump?

I didn't get that vibe. I went to the concession stand twice that day, my waiting time was next to nothing and there were lines aplenty there. Damn, that beer was cold and good!!!

My first trip to Region's Field was tonight. Had a great time, and loved the stadium. The concession lines were pretty long I thought, but nothing crazy. It was worth the wait. I will definitely be going back.

People really do complain about concessions a lot at sporting events. Didn't Momma ever teach anyone to eat plenty beforehand so you don't have to rely on a $7 slice of pizza and a $9 beer? The Compass Bowl people really cracked me up. "There were 60,000 people there, and sometimes we had trouble getting food! Oh the humanity!"

really quite impressed with the stadium. Decent facilities; the skyboxes were nice as well.

As is tradition on blazertalk,

Announced attendance was 7K but I'd say it was closer to 5K.

Um, was that referring to concessions, or scoring first?
