For years (and on a few boards still) my sig line always said from that movie.

"I have come here to chew bubble gum and kick ass, and I'm out of bubble gum"

I originally thought that line came from Duke Nukem 3D.

After I looked it up, I stand corrected. You learn something new every day.

If they send this Vulcan to make first contact, I'll volunteer to greet her in the appropriate human male fashion.

What is wrong with you?

It's the best series. :)

DS9 only got good with the additions of worf. Season 1 was garbage, but by season 6 it is one of my favorite series.

Voyager and TNG were pretty much good throughout.

Ben Sisko's acting was god awful at times, but I think the overall storylines throughout the entire series was much better than TNG or Voyager. Voyager was excellent and is my third favorite series, and I love TNG, but it's very corny and dated compared to DS9.

Plus, Quark is one of the best characters ever. And Garak. And Gul Dukat. And especially Weyoun.

Those three alone were a good enough reason to watch the show, that and Nana Vistor's interestingly shaped posterior.

Would have loved for there to have been a season 5 of Enterprise just because Combs was going to be added as a regular as Shran.

Wow. I totally forgot about B5. It's the one on my list I had forgotten. It took a couple of seasons to get going but when it did, I was hooked.

I guess I should give Stargate U another look. The first few episodes just didn't catch me. Maybe it's on Netflix. I'll have to try it again.

i just can't get past the BAD graphics in Babylon 5...their battles look like screen savers off windows 95...DS9 was the best of Trek IMHO (Enterprise was the worst)...I REALLY enjoyed Battlestar Galactica...Caprica is OK...i've enjoyed watching the remastered Star Trek TOS.

It's important to remember that that was the first show on TV to use CGI for all special effects. Before that most shows, including TNG, used starship models. It looks bad today but for the early '90's that was brand new stuff.

Sheridan was far better than Sinclair. Also, Jakar was by far the best character as the show progressed through the years.

They could have done a whole show on G'kar, Londo and Vir.

J'kar was so welk written & performed by Andreas Katsulus (rip). his development & storyline was fantastic. A series with him & garaboldi would have been fun.

while one of my all time favorites I don't think farscape was the best show I think it has the best science fiction of the sci fi shows. if that makes any sense.

Speaking of Farscape, I was probably one of the few who really liked the direction Stargate went once Browder and Black joined the show.

I loved SG-1! Claudia Black brought a dynamic and a character that I thought could really push the show for another 6 seasons. Oh, well.

Firefly tops my list just above SG-1. Also on the list are Doctor Who (classic and modern with the "Blink" episode one if the best episodes ever), Fringe, TNG, Farscape, BSG. Sliders was good too.

On another list is Haven, Buffy, Angel, Supernatural, and another that seems to have escaped me at the moment. I guess when I remember it I should remove it since I can't recall its name.

Have you seen Stargate: Universe? Was the best Stargate series, in my opinion. I wasn't a big fan of SG-1.

Farscape was good for the first few seasons, then just started... sucking. Fringe seems to be good so far.

Universe started off horribly.Wanted to be BSG too much. But after episode 5 found its rhythm and ended up being one of the best sci-fi series I have seen. Currently a big fan of Falling Skies. They got the Alien Apocalypse right.
