Well I would like to thank the arrested football players at Middle Tennessee and other crooked athletes in other schools (uhhem... Alabama), to keep our new stadium supporter up and running, so he could make these kind of charitable contributions to FAU Athletics.

Why not? I thought it was funny.

Let people laugh...the whole thing is funny. The story is funny and people's overreactions to it are funny. I think people are making waaay to much of this. The story is going to fade away soon, so let people have their fun. Besides, the company that took the biggest slam in the whole bit was Bank of America.

I saw that yesterday but I was really hoping it was a bad "April Fools" joke.

That is absolutely terrible that they lost that funding that they thought they had. $500k a year is a lot of demp for any school especially a SBC/CUSA school.

Bet you will get more from the individual donor than you would have otherwise.
Not his company, or the contract, but from him personally.

It's a shame though. If they are such a bad company they should/would be prosecuted.
Would imagine the type of company had more to do with it than anything.
Wouldn't care personally.
