We've decided on the nickname OWLcatraz.
I don't get the big deal about what they do. It's local billion dollar company, traded on the NYSE, and is run by an FAU Alum.
Would seem to fit "the cage" at FIU better, but oh well. The race to come up with a new nickname for FAU's stadium begins, too bad the big house is already taken. How about "the Slammer" or "the clink"?

I like OWLcatraz as it rhymes more with the actual Alcatraz

Neither of those are a play on words, both have been long established. I'm just saying I wouldn't be surprised if rivals come up with a different nickname, especially given the subject matter they've been given to work with. Better believe it will be the subject of many jokes the next time you have a player run afoul of the law.

Well, who really cares? If OWLcatraz sticks it'll be because FAU fans embrace it. Opposing teams will make fun of the name regardless of what it is or the subject matter. Besides, the $6 million is the most important thing here.
