There was something about today being the day for the announcements, any truth to that? The fallout should be about like MTSU...we are changing letterhead by Monday.

schedules are set, and wku isn't looking to screw the conference eon the way out the door.

Most conferences are subject to losing teams. That is why CUSA looks like it does as well. Unlike the WAC, we can add schools that are as strong as those in CUSA, MAC and the SBC.

CUSA and BE are the same but have FBS teams willing to back fill.

I know it would have happened anyway but it sure makes Mr. Peanut look bad as commissioner. I would hate to have his job. Talk about stress.

WAC just didnt have anyone left to add out west which put it in the coffin.

The SBC does have a lot of schools that want to move up and that will allow the confrence to survive.

It is quite funny how you could hear a pin drop when asking teams to join the WAC and there are many willing to do anything to get in the Sun Belt.

Yes. The West ran out of schools. The Big East should have fallen apart like the WAC did, but they had CUSA schools to pull from. Then CUSA had SBC schools to pull from, and the SBC has FCS schools to pull from.

The last few years have been crazy. Texas St hasn't been in a stable conference in years. Teams bailing, joining, conferences dissolving, and joining new conferences. I look forward to the day you know who will be in your conference 5-10 years down the road.
